The Practice offers mindful psychiatric care to children aged 5+, adolescents, and adults. The practice provides management and treatment for a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, insomnia, and other behavioral and mood disorders. Through a blend of traditional psychiatric care and proven mindfulness-based interventions, we help individuals optimize the health of body, mind, and spirit.

Kwame Amin is a nationally certified Physician Assistant/Associate (PA) licensed in New York and New Jersey. He earned his PA degree from the City University of New York (CUNY) York college in 2012. He later went on to earn his Masters of Business of Administration (MBA) in Strategic Health Care Management from Hofstra University, followed by a Doctor of Medical Science Degree (DMSc) in Behavioral Medicine from the University of Lynchburg, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and is a lifetime member of Phi Kappa Phi.
During his doctoral training, PA Amin focused on the epigenetic mechanisms affecting mental health conditions. His thesis explored the potential of mindfulness-based interventions to regulate gene expression in conditions such as ADHD to improve trans-generational health.
